Bascand Estate was established in 1998 by the Bascand family on 25 hectares of prime Marlborough land, renowned for its gold medal winning wines. There is no winery with bigger personality than Bascand. A group of young guys, who have travelled, lived and worked in most corners of the world, they then brought that sense of enjoyment, adventure and creativity to create premium wines showcasing the best of the Marlborough and Waipara regions. The vineyards are certified as sustainable in keeping with a philosophy of looking after the earth and environment around us and this flows into our wines.
