Georges Michel was already heartedly enamoured by wine when he and his family decided to move to New Zealand and establish Georges Michel Wine Estate in 1997. Situated on the 'Golden Mile' which denotes the central route of the Rapaura area, renowned for the production of the best flavored fruit of the Marlborough wine region, the vineyards produce Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah and Viognier.
