The Goldie vineyard is the home of Waiheke Island’s pioneering vineyard established by Kim and Jeanette Goldwater in 1978. The vineyard has a history of producing iconic wines in a stunning location overlooking the picturesque Putiki Bay. Classic Bordeaux style wines, elegant Chardonnay and excellent Syrah are sustainably grown on low yielding vines covering 7ha.s of undulating coastal land. Goldie Vineyard is also the home of The University of Auckland's leading Wine Science Programme, providing innovative research information for the benefit of the wider wine industry.
