About
Northburn Station is a 12,000 hectare high country merino sheep station in Central Otago. Owners Tom & Jan Pinckney have diversified from the traditional grazing operation to follow their passions for wine, food and hospitality. A 23 hectare vineyard, established in 1999, currently produces around 2000 cases of wine a year – primarily Pinot Noir – but also Pinot Gris, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Rosé. A cellar door and function venue is open 7 days for wine tastings, sales and lunches. The venue is also available for functions and weddings for up to 200 people.
