Puriri Hills in Clevedon makes blended red wines inspired by the grand crus of Pomerol and St Emilion. We grow Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and the "lost" Bordeaux variety, Carmenere. Our five acres of dry-farmed vineyard are set on high sloping river terraces within a 100 acre estate that overlooks the Hauraki Gulf. All fruit is traditionally grown, vinified, barrel-aged and bottled on the estate. We produce about 1000 cases each year.
