The Hay Paddock is a specialist in cool climate syrah, producing multi-award winning single vineyard wines at its Onetangi Valley, Waiheke Island property. The Hay Paddock Syrah has been awarded Gold, Best in Class and Trophy for Best Shiraz/Syrah at the International Wine and Spirit Competitions in London and Hong Kong. The Hay Paddock Harvest Man Syrah was judged the 2009 'Best of the Best' NZ Wine of the Year and Best in Class and Gold Medal at the London International Wine Challenge. These are premium wines from two leading artisan winegrowers, Chris Canning and Bryan Mogridge.
