Tohu Wines (pronounced Tor-who) are produced by the world’s first Maori, family-owned wine company. Since 1998 Tohu has been producing award-winning, premium wines, under the Tohu and KONO brands, from New Zealand’s premier winegrowing regions. Tohu, when translated to English means “signature”. We are making our mark on the world by producing a uniquely branded wine and celebrating Maori culture both at home and overseas. Currently we produce 90,000 cases of wine, largely from our own vineyards.
