COVID-19 Considerations

Grape Days 2022 events have been planned and executed with the current covid regulations and recommendations front of mind. The health and safety of our members and industry is our top priority.

At the Orange level, facemasks are not required, however, the Government encourages these and you are welcome to wear them if you would like. Event staff will be wearing masks and will have a small number of spare masks and sanitiser on site should you require them. In addition, all attendees' tickets will be scanned on arrival for ease of contact tracing if required. Please do not attend if you have any symptoms or if you are required to self-isolate. People are encouraged to test themselves for COVID-19 before the event, but you will not be required to prove a negative test to attend. 


Privacy Policy and Photography

Part of NZW’s role is to provide a global marketing platform for New Zealand wine, including holding events to showcase New Zealand wines.  When we do this, we will collect the personal information we need to administer and run the event (such as the name, contact details and dietary or accessibility requirements of attendees).  Where we take payment for these events we do not collect credit card numbers, as these are managed by the third-party ticketing services we use. We may take and publish photographs or video of event attendees on our website and social media channels.


Terms and Conditions

The general Terms and Conditions our Events are set out on our website here. The following additional Terms and Conditions apply to Grape Days 2022 (the Event):
COVID-19 restrictions
  1. The Organiser will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation. Changes to the Event may be required in order to accommodate COVID-19 restrictions (eg we may be required to cancel some tickets to reduce guest numbers. The decision to take any such steps will be at the Organiser’s sole discretion. While we will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible of any changes to the Event, the situation may change at short notice. Refunds and exchanges will be administered in accordance with our Event Terms and Conditions.
  2. Attendees at the Event will be required to follow the directions of the Organiser or Venue staff regarding any measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 (eg hygiene requirements). Failure to follow these directions will be treated as Misconduct in accordance with the Terms and Conditions and you may be removed from the Event.
