Aurum Wines (Aurum is the Latin for Gold) is a family owned boutique winery run by Joan, Tony, Brook and Lucie lawrence. Aurum Wines produces Estate grown Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Chardonnay, as well as Methode Traditionelle Blanc de Blancs and Dessert Wines. Brook is the Viticulturalist and Winemaker and Lucie, a graduate in Oenology from Dijon University in France, is principal winemaker.
Aurum Wines is a family run estate based in the Lowburn sub region of Central Otago. Our vineyard and winery are managed using certified organic practices and we thrive to produce wines that speak truthfully of their origins. Organics is the defining philosophy of our vineyard management and part of an overall goal to achieve continuous improvements in vineyard sustainability and to make better wines.
