We have been proud producers of fine New Zealand wines since 1916, when Croatian immigrant Josip Babich produced his first vintage. Over a century on, our family business has three generations of winemaking experience behind it, vineyards in New Zealand’s finest wine regions, and a passion for winemaking as a way of life.
The rolling countryside of the Henderson Valley is where our journey towards excellence truly began, and we welcome visitors. Just a short drive from the city, our cellar door is open 6 days a week. Come and experience the picturesque vineyard that our family has called home for over 100 years.
