The McNaught and Walker Sauvignon Blanc is produced entirely from grapes grown in the Awatere Valley, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand.
The vines are in a range of soils which contributes to the full palate and aromatics and distinctive regional style. Low yields add further fruit intensity which strikingly combines with the pure mineral character of the soils and the intense classic fruit characters of Sauvignon Blanc.
The wine was partially fermented in old oak casks using natural yeast to complement and complete the style.
Only a thousand cases of this classic wine are produced annually.
