NZW is working closely with Nelson Winegrowers Association and Wine Marlborough to support members, along with being in close contact with the Ministry for Primary Industries, other government and local agencies.

Tasman

If you would like to request help for your property or you would like to register as a volunteer, please visit the SVA website and fill out the form.

Landcare Trust is also coordinating a local response to support those affected by recent flooding in our Motueka, Moutere, and Waimea communities. If you need help (clearing homes, driveways, fencing, etc) or can offer time, tools, or skills, please fill out this short form here.

There is also a local Facebook group set up for volunteer support here.

MBIE has confirmed RSE workers can, on a case by case basis, help with flood clean up.  RSE Employers should contact RSE engagement partner, michael.jones@mbie.govt.nz, if they’d like to use their RSE workers for this purpose.

Marlborough

If your site has been impacted by the flooding and you need urgent support (for example with clearing driveways, drains or buildings), OR you are able to offer assistance (time, machinery, tools, skilled labour) please complete the survey here (note this is not co-ordinated by New Zealand Wine, but by the Marlborough Primary Sector Network response to the flood event).
