Wine Australia and New Zealand Winegrowers have teamed up to run our UK and Ireland trade tastings together in London (27 January), Edinburgh (29 January) and Dublin (3 February).

The collaboration follows a successful Australia and New Zealand trade tasting in the UK and Ireland in 2025.

Across the three cities in 2025, more than 1,000 guests explored wines from 200 Australian and New Zealand wineries. Attendees included buyers from multiple retailers and independent merchants, sommeliers and managers of top restaurants, and journalists, influencers and educators. We received great feedback from guests, positive press coverage, and wineries and importers reported strong commercial outcomes.

In 2026, the event comprises a trade tasting in London, Edinburgh and Dublin as well as a masterclass in Edinburgh and Dublin and a consumer tasting evening in Dublin.

The roadshow will showcase Australia and New Zealand’s distinctive terroirs, vibrant winemaking communities and thrilling wines. It is an opportunity for wineries and importers to meet distributors, buyers, multiple retailers and independent specialists, the on-trade and sommeliers, and work on leads and generate listings.

The trade tasting in London is the largest event of the roadshow with more than 500 guests expected, and we expect more than 250 guests in Edinburgh and 250 guests across the trade and consumer tasting in Dublin.

Wine Australia and New Zealand Winegrowers teaming up enables importers to showcase a wider portfolio at one event, and it helps buyers, retailers and sommeliers get the most out of a day away from their business. Guests travel from across the UK and Europe, so it is cost-effective, time-efficient, and offers greater exploration of the southern hemisphere.

Registration is now open for Australian and New Zealand wineries, and importers, distributors and agents in the UK and Ireland. Full and half tables are available, and they can feature both Australian and New Zealand wines. Exhibitors can participate in one, two or all three cities.

We recommend two members of staff per table, either from the winery or your distributor, to introduce the wines and talk to guests. For wineries seeking distribution, please ensure that someone from the winery can travel over to staff the table. We encourage exhibitors to put their best foot forward to show premium wines and new releases from their range.
