Explored Australia and New Zealand’s distinctive terroirs, vibrant winemaking communities and thrilling wines in this collaboration between Wine Australia and New Zealand Winegrowers.
Attendees joined us to refresh their knowledge of Australian and New Zealand wine, challenge their perceptions and discover new wines that were in-market and seeking distribution.
They tasted the wines that had put Australia and New Zealand in the spotlight and discovered exciting new styles emerging from the two countries. Participants uncovered regional and stylistic differences, learned about winemaking techniques and innovative spirit, and looked into the future of Australian and New Zealand wine.
For those looking to expand their Australian and New Zealand portfolios, this was a great opportunity to taste a diverse range under one roof. We were confident attendees found something their customers would love.
• Across the three cities, there were 1,000 wines from 200 wineries
• Attendees met winemakers, winery owners and principals
• They tasted the latest vintages from iconic producers
• They discovered alternative grape varieties and new-wave styles
• They tried minimal intervention and natural wines
• They explored wines made by organic, biodynamic and sustainable champions
