Sample Callout for James Suckling 2025

James Suckling will be returning to New Zealand in October with two editors to taste current releases from all regions. James and his team will also call for current releases at the end of February.

The tastings inform the James Suckling Top 100 Wines of New Zealand report – And will also be part of the broader editorial cycle. Wines submitted may be featured in weekly tasting reports, regional features, and general coverage throughout the year. The team at JamesSuckling.com rates more than 40,000 wines a year and reaches an estimated 4 million global followers, including over 425,000 followers on Instagram alone. 

Please note the submission parameters below:

  1. Wineries exporting to the US, UK, China, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong or Thailand may submit a maximum of six wines per brand
  2. All other wineries may submit a maximum of one wine per brand
  3. Please confirm submissions with Kevin Davy (kd@jamessuckling.com) prior to sending samples
  4. If you would like to submit more than the defined number of wines, please advise Kevin when emailing your submission – He will advise if this is possible
  5. No repeats of wines already submitted and rated earlier this year
  6. Any late submissions may be redirected to the James Suckling office in Hong Kong.
