We are excited to invite you to join us at the New Zealand Wine 2025 Celebration Dinner.

An annual opportunity for the New Zealand wine industry to connect, learn, and celebrate achievements.

The Celebration Dinner, to be held in Ōtautahi Christchurch, will raise a glass to the New Zealand Winegrowers Fellows 2025 and announce the winners of the Young Viticulturist and the Tonnellerie de Mercurey Young Winemaker of the Year Competitions.

Te Radar 

Te Radar is one of the most recognised entertainers and personalities in New Zealand. Whether as a stand-up comedian, documentary maker, or the fusion of both in his keynote speeches, he is as gregarious as he is accomplished. Having won just about every New Zealand comedy award from the Fred Award to the Billy T Award for excellence in comedy, he also has a myriad of accolades in documentary making from the Qantas Awards in Film and Television to the NZ Television Awards. In 2018, he received an honorary Master of Arts degree from Wintec for his contribution to Media and Entertainment. Witty, engaging and well-informed, Te Radar is a sought-after keynote speaker, with an ability to knowledgeably host diverse events across the Agricultural, Engineering, Science, Media, Arts, Medical, Environmental and Academic sectors.

Dr Ed Massey

In September 2019, Dr Ed Massey took the role of General Manager Sustainability at New Zealand Winegrowers. His team is responsible for the implementation of the wine industry's Environment Strategy to protect and enhance the industry’s reputation as a world leader in sustainable wine production. He joined New Zealand Winegrowers in January 2016 as Biosecurity and Emergency Response Manager. Before that, he worked for the central government between 2005 and 2015, first in fisheries management and from 2010 in biosecurity response. Ed completed a PhD in Geography from the University of Auckland in 2006, where he first developed a passion for sustainable resource management. He is based in Blenheim in the heart of the Marlborough wine region.
