We are a family owned small boutique vineyard at the foot of the Weka Pass in North Canterbury. Soils are limestone with embedded calcareous Miocene sea shells . Following Burgundian style we high density plant and low crop on a low trellis. Sprays on the vines are organic. Grapes are handpicked, de-stemmed, and pressed, then matured in French oak barrels. Our 2008 Pinot has a fine bouquet with rich licorice and savoury notes. Will cellar well. Our 2010 Pinot has been proudly handmade by the family.
