Enticing wines from one of New Zealand's pioneering family winegrowers, Seifried Estate is proud have celebrated 40 years of winemaking in the Nelson region.
Using Sustainably Accredited, Estate grown fruit from nine different vineyard sites around the Nelson region, the range of wines show a characteristic reflective of each vineyards microclimate.
The passion for wine has now been passed to the next generation, with eldest daughter Heidi, and son Chris combining talents and experience to lead the cellar team, while youngest daughter Anna works in the export marketing side of the business.
Since 1973, Hermann and Agnes Seifried have been growing and making wines in the beautiful Nelson region. A leading producer of Sauvignon Blanc, Seifried has also gained a reputation for interesting and unusual varieties, including Grüner Veltliner, Würzer and Zweigelt – paying homage to Hermann’s Austrian heritage.
