Sustainability

The New Zealand wine industry has been at the forefront of Sustainability since the 1990s and 2025 celebrates 30 years since its launch.   Our SWNZ programme is highly acclaimed around the world and the practices we use contribute to the success and quality of our wines.

Based on continuous improvement, it is important we continue to follow and introduce best practices to ensure a long and successful future, producing quality wines whilst protecting our environment, people and businesses.

The six key sustainability focus areas are:

Water, Waste, Plant Protection, Climate Change, Soil and People.
