Chard Farm is located on a spectactlar terrace above the Kawarau River Gorge. Founded in 1987 at the entrance to the Gibbston Valley, the site was originally settled by the Chard family in the 1860 and market gardening provided food for the miners in the district. The winery was built in 1993 and has the capacity to process the fruit from all our Central Otago vineyard sites. We specialise in premium Pinot Noir production with other varieties being Pinot Gris, Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Gewürztraminer.
