Recipient of the 2023 New Zealand International Business Award, ‘Excellence in Sustainability’, Lawson’s Dry Hills is New Zealand’s most independently accredited, sustainable producer. Certified 100% sustainable (ISO14001), our estate grown, made and bottled wines are produced at our Toitū certified (ISO14064) net carbonzero winery. Continuing our ongoing commitment to sustainability, we are proud to also have recently added B Corporation Certification to our accreditations, putting us among businesses that are proving to the world that it’s possible to be commercially successful while benefiting people, communities, and the planet.
We’re a relaxed bunch, but take making wine seriously, to the point of doing everything ourselves. Each wine is an authentic representation of the grape variety and the land from which it is grown, including Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer and Pinot Noir, from our vineyards throughout the region.
Visit
You’ll always receive a warm welcome at our home on Alabama Road.
Everything we do is born of Marlborough, so whilst you’re here, come and experience our award-winning wines – we’re one of the closest cellar doors to Blenheim’s town centre.
You can also pick your own platter with a range of local cheeses, cured meats, paté and salmon. Or bring your own picnic and enjoy with a glass of our wine. The picturesque courtyard offers views of our famous hills – the ones that are on our label – and you can see the original illustration hanging on the cellar door wall.
